The Tray Dahl & The Jugtime Ragband CD "Don't Mess with The Hat" is finally here!!! Please celebrate with us for an intimate "Dinner and a Show" experience - where tables will be set up all the way to the stage and Tray will talk briefly about the story of each song on the album.
Tray's songs are stories, like mini black and white movies, that take place anywhere from the 1870's to the 1930's. The CD is a collection of 12 of those original stories all set to the bands 1920's/30's New Orleans style of music. The band will also play some of the old popular tunes from the 1920's and 30's.
1920’s costumes encouraged! Flapper up gals!! And fellas, dust that suit and tommy gun off!
Join us right by the skate park on the Beltline for an all day festival preceding the Beltline Lantern Parade! One of the funnest nights of the year! We don't know our time slot yet but if I had to guess I'd say between 3 and 5pm. Will keep ya posted.
This Amphitheatre is about a 20-25 minute drive from Decatur. Free parking, bring your own picnic/coolers of food & booze, in September (not as hot out), all seats are COVERED (no direct sun on ya and rain is no problem!) clean indoor bathrooms rather than gross porta johns, and best of all you get a two hour concert for FREE! Space in between rows is wide, there is plenty of room for coolers and even a little candlelight snack tray if you wanna make it a date night!
Can it get better? Yep, check it out - there is a VIP seating section with tables right in front of the stage. A table of 6 seats costs $60 (table has to be purchased for $60 even if you don't have a full 6 people and if you have over 6 you have to purchase a second table). Tables are available for purchase at the box office. You will save on fees if you get them there. You can also purchase tickets directly by calling the box office at 770-819-7765.
If you choose to buy the table from the ticketmaster link below, here are two things you should know: 1) you only have the option to choose "6" tickets, any other number will result in an error message 2) the fees and taxes for purchasing online are HIGH.

Gates open at 1pm and music goes from 2-10pm. We play from 2-3:30. We'll be playing many of our originals, some of those great New Orleans tunes and a few jazz standards, like "Pennies from Heaven" that we don't often get to pull out in the bar rooms.

Free Show! This is an all ages event in the parking lot of Smoke N' Brew. There will be catered bbq and sides. Also beer available for purchase inside (growler station and craft bottles/cans) as well as live glass blowing artists!
We will be putting on our very own theatrical music show, script written by Tray Dahl, at the theatre complete with drunk "washed-up showgirl" and grumpy band manager who hates the band and the band hates him! This show is 80% music with comedy bits or dance numbers sprinkled throughout the night. Buy Tickets.
Matinee show from 3-5pm
Evening show 8-10pm
Bonaventure at 8pm and us at 10pm to 11:30pm.
Our favorite festival!! So much fun, seriously. And it's FREE! They are currently working on the schedule and right now we are "tentatively" on at 1:20pm on the amphitheatre stage. Check back though, as soon as I know for sure I will update the website.
This is a chili cook-off and bluegrass festival (on the main stage). They know we are not bluegrass but they always love us to play the amphitheatre stage. Which we love because it's the fun stage! Stay all day and enjoy a ton of good music, food, and beer!
